Where the oil moves,
we are present.
Three regions.
One connected strategy.
Cassiope focuses on the corridors that matter most in global physical oil trade: the Middle East, Africa, and the Mediterranean. These three regions are interconnected — crude produced in one often flows to refineries in another, and our presence across all three allows us to originate, route, and deliver with genuine flexibility.
Our base in Dubai is not incidental. It places us within hours of the world's largest producing region, in a jurisdiction built for international trade, and in a time zone that bridges East and West.
Middle East
Our home market.
The Middle East remains the world's most significant crude oil producing region, accounting for roughly a third of global supply. Our base in Dubai places us at the centre of this market — close to the national oil companies, trading desks, and refinery buyers that define it.
We are active across the Gulf Cooperation Council, with particular focus on grades originating from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait. Our relationships in the region are long-standing and built on consistent, professional execution.
Africa
Growth, complexity, opportunity.
Africa is one of the most dynamic crude oil producing regions in the world. West Africa — led by Nigeria, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea — produces high-quality light sweet grades that are in strong demand from Asian and European refiners. North Africa, including Libya and Algeria, adds further volume and complexity.
We have developed specific expertise in navigating the operational and commercial challenges of African crude markets: loading programme variability, quality management, and the financing structures that producers and traders require.
Mediterranean
A natural crossroads.
The Mediterranean is one of the world's most active refining and trading hubs. It sits at the intersection of Atlantic Basin, Middle Eastern, and Black Sea crude flows — making it a natural market for a trading company with our geographic reach.
We supply crude and products to refiners across Southern Europe and North Africa, and use the region as a key transit and blending corridor. Our understanding of Mediterranean refinery economics and logistics allows us to structure competitive supply programmes.
Active in your market?
If you are a producer, refiner, or trading house operating in any of our focus regions, we would welcome the conversation.
